South Korean media Sports Donga on Thursday (4/8/22) announced that Studio Dragon has announced its sales results in the second quarter of 2022. It is known that Studio Dragon earned the highest operating profit quarterly profit.
Studio Dragon sales reached KRW 157.5 billion (Rp 1.795 trillion) year-on-year. This value shows an increase of 48.5%. Operating profit reached KRW 27 billion (Rp 307 billion) year-on-year, an increase of 95.7%.
In the second quarter of 2022, Studio Dragon managed to get sales of up to KRW 43.8 billion (Rp 499 billion). The sales increased 55.4% compared to the second quarter of 2021.
In the second quarter of this year, there were 13 content successfully released by Studio Dragon. Some of them are ‘Our Blues’, ‘The Murderer’s Shopping List’, ‘Shooting Star’, ‘Link: Eat, Love, Kill’, ‘Eve’s Scandal’, ‘Ghost’, and ‘Yumi’s Cells 2’. Among the 13 content, the content was successfully distributed to various global OTT platforms, such as TVING, Netflix, and Disney Plus.
