Na In Woo, Cube’s First Actor Who Changed the End of a Drama

Na In Woo, the actor who changed the script for the last episode of the drama River Where The Moon Rises, after he replaced the previous actor who played ‘Ondal’ in the drama from KBS2TV. Launching from KBIZoom on (6/20/2022), originally, the drama from KBS2TV was supposed to have a sad ending where ‘Ondal’ died, but the last episode was changed due to the great interest in Na In Woo not only in Korea but also overseas.

After the drama “River Where The Moon Rises” ended, he immediately appeared on KBS2TV’s entertainment program “2 Days & 1 Night” as the youngest member and showed his unexpected taste in entertainment.

Na In Woo was born on September 17, 1994, and his real name is Na Jong Chan. In 2013, he made his debut through the musical “Bachelor’s Vegetable Shop”. Since 2019, he changed his stage name from Na Jong Chan to Na In Woo.

Na In Woo is the only son of his family, when he was 9 years old he was sent to study abroad in Canada for 3 years. His English name is John. At that time, he rented a Korean drama from a Korean supermarket, and fell in love with acting after watching the KBS2TV drama “I’m Sorry, I Love You”.

When he was in middle school, he signed with JYP Entertainment through street casting and lived the trainee life for a year. After that, when he was thinking about his future career path after passing the University entrance exam, he contacted his brother who gave him his business card and entered Cube Entertainment as an acting trainee.

Na In Woo began to gain public attention through the MBC drama “Shine or Go Crazy”. Starting with Naver TV’s web drama “Spark”, he starred in web dramas such as tvN’s web drama “It’s Okay to Be Sensitive”.

In the tvN drama “Mr. Queen”, Na In Woo was loved very much after playing the role of Kim Byung In, a very unlucky character. He then emerged as a popular actor after replacing the former male lead in KBS2TV’s “River Where The Moon Rises”. He appeared as the main character in the KBS2TV drama “Jinx’s at lover” with SNSD’s Seo Hyun.

To relieve stress, he shared that he enjoys singing rock and likes Kim Kyung Ho’s songs. When he plays guitar, he always carries a grip instrument with him to build strength.

Meanwhile, Na In Woo has received the New Wave Award in the actor category at the 2021 Asian Artist Awards, the Rookie Award from the KBS Acting Award, and the Best Couple Award (With Kim So Hyun).
