Jungkook BTS Breaks Spotify’s Biggest Debut Record Through Left And Right

Jungkook BTS has once again proved his dominance as one of the most successful soloists ever. On Sunday (26/06J/2022) Allkpop reported that BTS’ Jungkook managed to break his own record for Biggest Debut by an Asian Soloist on Spotify Global.

Jungkook BTS broke the record through “Left And Right” and even surpassed the achievement of “Stay Alive”, which is known for his amazing vocals and immense popularity around the world, is now again making fans proud with his songs as a soloist.

Previously, he had set big records with the OST “Stay Alive” and now he is breaking his own record with his first collaboration song with Charlie Puth entitled “Left And Right”

Jungkook’s first solo collaboration with Charlie Puth, “Left and Right” has debuted at number 3 on the Spotify Global Chart with a total of 6,792,908 streams.

He is now the first and only Asian soloist to achieve the 2 biggest and highest debuts on the Spotify Global Chart with the following breakdown:

  1. Left And Right : 6.79 Million Streams.
  2. Stay Alive : 4.27M Million Streams.

Jungkook’s songs are currently also included in the filtered list of Top 5 biggest debuts for K-Pop soloists on global Spotify. Here is the full list:

  1. Left And Right (Charlie Puth ft Jungkook): 6.79 Million Streams.
  2. Stay Alive (Jungkook): 4.27 Million Streams.
  3. On The Ground (Rose): 3.26 Million Streams.
  4. Lalisa (Lisa): 3.25 Million Streams.
  5. Girl Of My Dream (Juice WRLD ft Suga): 3.2 Million Streams.

In addition, “Left And Right” has also debuted at #1 on the Spotify Top 50 Global chart in India, Pakistan, Philippines, South Korea, and more.

The song has garnered 980k streams at #8 on Spotify’s US Top 50 chart on its first day of release on June 24, 2022. It was the highest debut for a K-pop soloist on Spotify US.

“Left and Right” has reached No. 1 on the iTunes Top Songs chart in at least 93 different country regions, including the United States, Canada, Denmark, Sweden, as well as France.
