Jimin Ex AOA Will Make His First Appearance Through JTBC’s New Program The Second World

After two years since the announcement of his departure from the group AOA, Shin Jimin is rumored to be joining the audition program organized by JTBC. Kbizoom launched, on Monday (1/8/2022), according to an entertainment industry official, former AOA member Jimin will join the JTBC entertainment program entitled “The Second World”.

“The Second World” is a vocal battle program between the main rappers of girl group K pop. Through the event, AOA’s former main rapper, Jimin, is expected to show his vocal abilities as a versatile artist.

In particular, Jimin has managed to break the prejudice against rappel idols when he competed in the Mnet female rapper survival show “Unpretty Rap Star” in 2015.

Main rapper of eight girl group K-Pop, including Jimin, Wonder Girls’ Yubin, Mamamoo’s Moonbyul, WJSN’s EXY, Momoland’s Jooe, Moon Sua Billie, and CLASSY:y’s Kim Seonyou, will compete in “The Second World”.

Jimin who resigned from AOA in 2020 due to the bullying controversy with his former member Kwon Mina. He stopped all official activities and went on hiatus.

FNC Entertainment as Jimin’s agency at the time said, “We apologize for causing concern to many people because of what happened to Jimin. Jimin has decided to leave the AOA group and stop all entertainment activities.”

Then, after going through a period of self-reflection, Jimin restarted his social media activities earlier this year and started communicating with his fans.

Jimin, who has been on hiatus for two years, signed an exclusive contract with his new agency, ALO MALO Entertainment last month. JTBC’s “The Second World” will be Jimin’s first official comeback schedule.

Previously, when announcing the news of his exclusive contract with ALO MALO, Jimin said, “I greet you at my new home. During the hiatus I have been reflecting on myself. I am still cautious, but I am trying to take one step at a time. Please look forward to my future. .”

Meanwhile, Shin Jimin who is now 31 years old, debuted as a member girl group AOA in 2012 under FNC Entertainment. In 2020 Jimin decided to leave the group and terminated his contract with FNC earlier this year.
