Indonesia Masters 2023 Results: Indonesia Has Won Two Champion Titles and One Runner Up

The final round of the Daihatsu Indonesia Masters 2023 was held at Istora Gelora Bung Karno, Senayan, Jakarta on Sunday (29/1/2023). Indonesia itself managed to send three representatives to the top party, namely one from the men’s doubles sector and two other representatives in the men’s singles sector all Indonesian finals.

Maximum results were also successfully achieved by Indonesia with the achievement of two titles and one runner up. The first title was presented by Jonatan Christie from the men’s singles sector after the civil war match against Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo.

The civil war action that is usually a dilemma has turned into a sweet moment for Indonesia. The reason is, for the first time after 15 years, Istora Senayan is back to witness an exciting match all Indonesian men’s single final which at that time took place between Sony Dwi Kuncoro and Simon Santoso in 2008.

One title song for Indonesia was successfully presented by a young double named ‘The Babbies’, Leo Rolly Carnando/Daniel Marthin. Advancing to the final after defeating Takuro Hoki/Yugo Kobayashi, Leo/Daniel had to face He Jiting/Zhou Haodong from China.

After a point chase, Leo/Daniel, who performed brilliantly, became even more solid and managed to win straight game with a final score of 21-17, 21-16.
