1. Infectious Diseases

Fibromatosis colli is a lump in the baby’s neck muscle that is thought to have occurred due to an injury during the birth process. If left untreated, fibromatosis colli can trigger torticollis.
Then there is the branchial cyst which causes a lump filled with water to appear on the child’s neck. This disorder is caused by disturbances during fetal development.
Colli tumors can also arise due to a number of other causes, such as lipomas, injuries, allergic reactions to drugs and food, to the presence of salivary gland stones (sialolithiasis).
