
On June 12, 2022, soompi reports that the Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for K-pop girl groups. BLACKPINK, (G)I-DLE, and IVE managed to top the brand reputation of K-pop girl groups this June. The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community indexes of various girl groups, using big data collected from May 12, 2022 to June 12, 2022.
BLACKPINK reclaimed the top spot on this month’s list with a brand reputation index of 3,335,959, marking a 4.72 percent increase in their score since last May.
High-ranking phrases in BLACKPINK’s keyword analysis included ‘Queen of England,’ ‘Instagram,’ and ‘Ambassador,’ while the highest-ranking related search words included ‘participate,’ ‘model,’ and ‘donate.’ The group’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 73.84 percent positive reactions.
(G)I-DLE came in second with a brand reputation index of 3,319,347, while IVE took third place for the month with a total brand reputation index of 3,216,154.
TWICE came in fourth place with a brand reputation index of 2,892,193, marking a 5.13 percent increase in their score since May, and LOONA rose to fifth place after enjoying a 58.88 percent increase in their index for a total score of 2,509,467.

Koo Chang-hwan, director of the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, said, “The results of the analysis of girl group brand reputations in June 2022, BLACKPINK (Jisoo, Jenny, Rose, and Lisa) ranked first in the girl group brand category.”
He continued, “In BLACKPINK’s brand analysis, ‘participate, ‘model’ and ‘donation’ became the highest related search words, and in the keyword analysis, ‘Queen of England; ‘Instagram’ Ambassador’ came out very high as well. /negative for brands, BLACKPINK’s positive ratio this month is 73.84%. Brand consumption is up 13.34% and brand issues is up 7.01%., brand communication is up 8.66%, and brand distribution is up 1.66%. “
