Agency Announces Actor Lee Tae Hwan Coming Soon to Military Service

Lee Tae Hwan is preparing to start his military service. On Tuesday (21/06/2022) soompi reports that Lee Tae Hwan’s agency, Man of Creation, has made an official announcement regarding the actor’s military enlistment. Here is the full announcement:

“Hello, this is Man of Creation. Actor Lee Tae Hwan will be enlisting as an active duty soldier on June 27, 2022. We ask for your generous understanding. The location and time of registration will be kept confidential for the safety of the actor.

Lee Tae Hwan will return in better health after obediently completing his military service, so please send warm support. Thank you.”

For additional information, Lee Tae Hwan made his acting debut in 2013, when he was eighteen years old. At that time Lee Tae Hwan starred in a short TV drama series entitled ‘After School: Lucky or Not.’ She next starred in the drama “High School King of Savvy, playing an ice hockey player and also played the younger version of Lee Deok Wa in the SBS drama ‘Wonderful Day.’

In 2014, Lee Tae Hwan starred in the MBC drama ‘Pride and Prejudice’ where he played an investigator and former taekwondo athlete.

Lee Tae Hwan then starred in the historical drama ‘Splendid Politics’ where he played the young Prince Gwanghae. His popularity soared after he was cast in the drama ‘Please Comeback, Mister’ in 2016, where he played a former gangster. He next starred in the movie thriller MBC’s fantasy ‘W’ as a martial arts instructor.

In the same year, he took on a role in the web-drama ‘Thumping Spike’ as a volleyball captain. Lee Tae Hwan also made his big screen debut that year through the film ‘Su Saek’ a film that depicts youth friendship.

In 2017, Lee Tae Hwan received more and more offers to appear in various dramas. She appeared in the MBC series I’ll Take Care of You, a 50-episode family drama. He then starred in the drama ‘My Golden Life’ until 2018, playing an industrial design student. The drama was a hit, earning ratings of over 40%, one of the highest drama ratings in history.

Unfortunately, we will no longer be able to see Lee Tae Hwan on the small screen for the time being as he will soon be enlisting in the military.
